James Montgomery Doohan (1920-2005) was a Canadian actor best known for his portrayal of *MONTGOMERY SCOTT* in *STAR TREK*.
Doohan wroter an autobiography with the assistance of Peter David, and three science fiction novels with S. M. Stirling.
