Harold Shea is a fictional character originally created by L. Sprague de Camp and Fletcher Pratt who travels, with his colleagues, to a series of *PARALLEL WORLDS* where various ancient myths are actually true.
The character originally appeared in five books produced in the 1940s and 1950s. After a nearly 40 year hiatus, a new series by L. Sprague de Camp and various other authors began to appear in the 1990s.
