Darth Vader is a Sith Lord who is part-human part-machine (a Cyborg) who appears in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Darth Vader was born as Anakin Skywalker, but became Darth Vader after being hideously burned and turning to the Dark side of the Force.
At the end of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader is redeemed after saving the life of his son Luke Skywalker, and in the final scenes, we see his spirit returned to the form of Anakin Skywalker.
