In the Star Wars films, Boba Fett the clone son of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, and is himself a bounty hunter.
In Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Boba is shown as a boy.
Boba Fett did not appear in the original version of Episode IV: A New Hope, but a brief appearance was added when the special edition was released in 1997.
In Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, he appears as bounty hunter working for Darth Vader.
Boba Fett appears again in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, and it looks like he is about to die, however he apparently he escapes off-camera, and appears in other Star Wars material (books, etc.).
